Not all of us are gifted with green-fingers, some can gaze at a plant, and it will start to wilt. Well, luckily for all you hesitant plant lovers out there, Scandiscapes have shared a few of their best bloomin’ tips and tricks with us.

The Dark Side isn’t Always Bad

Meet the plant that’s perfect for beginner plant keepers. “The ZZ plant is a thing of wonder” and is far from demanding. “Put it in a dark spot and give it a drink three times a year and it will be just fine.”

If Treated Well, It’ll Greet You Well

To keep the Prayer Plants gorgeously full foliage looking as colourful as ever, make sure it’s placed away from direct sunlight. The plant adopted its name from its spectacular performance: “their leaves go up at night as if they were hands in prayer”. Now, that’s what we call a natural wonder of the world.

The popularity for succulents and cacti’s has spiked in the last few years. If you haven’t already jumped on the bandwagon, then now is the time! Just remember to keep them in a terracotta pot “as the material allows [the] soil to ‘breathe’”
