The Kernel Brewery springs from the need to have more good beer. Beer deserving of a certain attention
Founded in Bermondsey in 2009 by Evin O’Riordain The Kernel Brewery springs from the need to have more good beer. Beer deserving of a certain attention. Beer that forces you to confront and consider what you are drinking. Upfront hops, lingering bitternesses, warming alcohols, bodies of malt. Lengths and depths of flavour. The Kernel Brewery makes Pale Ales, India Pale Ales and old school London Porters and Stouts towards these ends. Bottled alive, to give them time to grow. A programme involving beers aged in wood and fermented with a house wild yeast strain is now producing a steady range of saisons.
One of our favourite hoppy beers available on draught at St Pancras is the brewery’s legendary Table Beer. Table Beer is brewed for flavour and drinkability and is light, refreshing and low on alcohol.
The particular brew utilises an ever-changing lineup of hops leading to a contrasting yet equally enjoyable experience with every batch. We can vouch it is perfect for enjoying with food and good conversation. Why not come down to Sourced Market and enjoy both!
