Maria & Sara are the sister-in-law, co-founder combo that started Well & Truly in 2016 with a dream to unjunk snacking classics. They saw a gap in the market for an innovative & exciting British brand with great tasting snacks that were also better for you.

Well & Truly snacks set out to be tastier and better versions of the mainstream alternatives. “Better” for Well & Truly means all natural ingredients, 40% lower in fat, gluten free, no added sugar, always vegetarian, or vegan where possible, and all of this without compromising on the fantastic taste and satisfying crunch we all want a snack to have. They also track the impact that they have through their health credentials and are proud that to date they’ve removed over 7 million grams of fat from the snacking supply chain.

Maria & Sara believe in “snack satisfaction” without guilt or compromise! They wanted to create properly satisfying snacks without any artificial nonsense. To be better in every sense and prove that ‘better for you’ doesn’t have to mean boring or bland. They’ve managed to achieve this by being packed with positivity! Well & Truly want people to feel good, so they truly live their ethos of ‘Positivity not Prohibition’ by packing better ingredients, joy and satisfaction into everything they do. They’re absolutely bursting with good stuff, from what goes into their products to how they behave in the world. This extends to their outlook on sustainability. They have started the journey to become B-Corp certified and last year they planted enough trees to offset the amount of Well & Truly packaging that has ended up in landfills.
