Moved by the poverty and inequality he saw while motorbiking across the world, Duncan Goose decided to channel his advertising experience into a humanitarian cause. He founded One, an ethical bottled water brand, which we are very proud to support.

We first started trading with One in 2015 after one of their interns approached us in our St Pancras location. She’d noticed that we were advocates of ethical brands and wanted to know if we’d consider stocking their products.

For us, it was a no-brainer – especially as the charity ensures that 100% of its profits go directly towards funding water projects for the world’s poorest communities. This was an opportunity for us, and our customers, to make a real difference.

By stocking One products in our shops, we’ve helped them on their way to raising an incredible £15 million. This ensures that 3 million people now have access to safe, clean and sustainable drinking water.

What happened next

We’re working alongside One as they continue to extend their product range. You can choose from still or sparkling, as well as flavoured, infused or juiced water. Each drink is made from British spring water with no added sugar or artificial additives.

To coincide with World Water Day, we’re running a joint campaign with One (lasting the whole of March) in an effort to raise more money for the organisation. With a new target of reaching £20 million by 2020, we’re hoping Sourced Market customers continue to support One and the important work that they do.

Whenever we think of new ideas, we turn to Sourced Market. They help us to engage, share and activate our plan and are incredibly supportive of our goal through various sampling events, product listings, social media campaigns and direct fundraising to their customers.
