OLLY’S OLIVES was founded in 2016 by Olly Hiscocks. The plan had always been to become a doctor, so after graduating from the University of Manchester with a Neuroscience degree, Olly applied for post-grad medical school. However, it wasn’t soon after this that he realised that his passion lay within the food industry. More specifically – the olive industry.
Olly set about to source the best olives he could get his hands on; which are from the sunny olive groves of Greece. Big & juicy Halkidiki olives are harvested & complemented by mouth-watering marinades made from Extra Virgin Olive Oil and the finest ingredients around. After starting the business at the beginning of 2016, Olly moved onto a market stall – selling to local pubs & delis. It was only 6 weeks ago when the new ambient pouch was launched.
The mantra at Olly’s Olives is “Thou shalt never use pasteurised olives, never use artificial preservatives & always put natural flavour & freshness first”. By using only unpasteurised olives, Olly has managed to keep the flavour, texture, colour & incredible nutritional value of the product.
With this in mind; Olly has created the world’s first, unpasteurised, ambient pouch of olives, ready to eat.
